Key Responsibilities: Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify potential shippers and generate new business through cold calling, emailing, and networking. Sales Development: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to understand their freight needs and provide custom solutions. Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers to ensure profitability while meeting customer expectations. Carrier Coordination: Work closely with carrier partners to ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight. CRM & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and load details using CRM and TMS systems. Market Intelligence: Stay updated with market trends, spot rates, and industry challenges to provide competitive quotes and strategies.
