Job Description

As a Copywriter, you will be working as a Freelancer for a period of 3 months in Mumbai, India. Your main objective will be to collaborate closely with the client to develop captivating and effective needs-based content and digital media campaigns. The brands you will be working with are known for their progressive thinking, utilizing in-depth insights for digital strategy and content advertising. They are committed to sustainability and emphasizing brand purpose, which means your work will involve infusing creative thinking into every project, regardless of its scale. Your role will be crucial within the team, requiring a deep understanding of trends and concerns in the beauty industry. Your skill set should include copywriting, investigative research, script writing, conceptual thinking, and content project planning. Your primary focus will be on writing for digital/web platforms, adapting the brand's tone of voice to suit this landscape and creating content that resonates with consumers. Expertise in storytelling, digital proficiency, and familiarity with SEO principles are essential for success in this role. In addition to writing, you may also collaborate with other creatives to conceptualize larger projects such as videos, key visuals, and social media campaigns. Given OLIVER's in-house agency model, you will need to confidently engage with clients directly. Your responsibilities will include generating creative, innovative content that attracts readership, writing articles of varying lengths, repurposing content, and maintaining brand voices. You will work closely with clients to develop strong concepts from initial briefings to final execution, ensuring creative excellence alongside the Creative Director-Copy and Data Strategists. To excel in this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience in digital writing, a background in corporate or journalism environments, and a good understanding of writing for beauty brands. Proficiency in SEO, social media publishing, and content management systems is necessary. You should possess a creative mindset, utilize data and insights effectively, and have the ability to present concepts clearly to clients and team members. A curiosity for AI and new technologies is desirable, with knowledge of AI tools being beneficial.
