We're Hiring: 2D Character Animator (Freelance) We’re looking for a 2D Character Animator to bring an original children’s character to life in a series of short, expressive, and emotionally driven animations. About the Project A short-form video series for children that combines real-world storytelling with moments of learning, and imagination. Think: storybook-style visuals, strong character personalities, and lots of heart. What You'll Do •Design and animate a recurring child character •Animate short narrative scenes based on scripts •Collaborate with the team on visual storytelling and refine animation style •Create textured, warm, handcrafted-looking digital animations Ideal Candidate •Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or related field •Proven experience as a 2D animator with a strong portfolio demonstrating character animation •Deep understanding of animation principles, storytelling, and character development •Proficient in Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar software •Strong drawing skills and attention to detail •Collaborative, communicative, and open to feedback •Bonus if you’ve worked on children’s content 📍 Remote | 💼 Freelance | 💰 Paid P.S.
