Fraud Technical Specialist- SQL

You will be joining Firstsource Solutions Limited as a Fraud Technical Specialist based in Bangalore. In this role, you will contribute to the Technical Fraud strategy by developing and optimizing fraud detection rules. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with the Fraud Technical Lead to design and optimize fraud detection rules using insights derived from large-scale data analysis. - Investigating emerging fraud trends by analyzing data across multiple systems, identifying patterns, and proposing actionable countermeasures. - Responding to business-critical questions by developing advanced SQL queries and customized reports to provide clear, meaningful insights to stakeholders. - Supporting system quality assurance through user acceptance testing of fraud platform upgrades and enhancements. - Working with internal support teams and external vendors to resolve system incidents and prioritize and escalate issues appropriately. Key Skills & Experience required for this role include: - Advanced SQL proficiency with experience in writing complex queries involving joins, subqueries, CTEs, and aggregate functions. - Experience working with large datasets in an enterprise data warehouse environment (e.g., Oracle, Google Cloud Platform). - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions. - Comfortable designing and testing fraud detection logic based on behavioral and transactional data. - Previous fraud experience is advantageous but not essential; technical and analytical capability is key. - Demonstrates resilience and adaptability when faced with competing priorities.
