FPGA IP Software Engineer

You will be working in a multi-geo talented software team developing software drivers for System Example Design (SED) targeting various FPGA development kits such as Agilex 7, Agilex 5, etc. As a Technical Lead for SED project(s), you will be responsible for owning and working with various teams to drive resolution to software requirements for the project. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the IP design team, hardware team, validation team, Planning, Marketing, and CEG (Customer Experience Group) to bring the design from concept to production to release to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the SED project(s) and work with cross-functional teams to meet software requirements - Collaborate with IP design team, hardware team, validation team, Planning, Marketing, and CEG - Develop software drivers for Linux system and Embedded systems with FPGA - Debug Kernel mode drivers and perform crash dump analysis - Work with ARM* HPS Kernel software stack and Linux Yocto-based platform - Develop PCIe device drivers and work on board bring-up - Utilize source control systems like Github, Perforce for version control - Communicate effectively to resolve issues and articulate ideas and concepts - Apply strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Qualifications Required: - Bachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field - 9+ years of experience in developing software drivers for Linux system and Embedded systems with FPGA - Strong proficiency in C/C++ Programming - Experience with ARM* HPS Kernel software stack and Linux Yocto-based platform - Expertise in PCIe protocol and PCIe device drivers - Experience in board bring-up and source control systems like Github, Perforce - Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate ideas effectively - Familiarity with bug tracking systems like Jira, HSD-ES Additional Company Details: The company values a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and development methodologies.
