Support the team in developing good quality castings with maximum possible yield within shortest possible lead time Support the Product and Process engineering function in Identifying the high cost items in PD process and initiate cost reduction actions to reduce cost Work towards maintaining COPQ(Cost of Poor Quality) of the unit within the acceptable target limits Ensure the highest quality output that meets customers expectation in the most cost effective manner, through efficient new product development processes Work along with Project Management function regarding new development castings approval by customers Revalidation of NPD Failure parts and Clear upto Fdy NPD Gate 7 Revalidation of Production Failure parts using MAGMASOFT software Find out high sand metal Ratio items and Bring them below target Creation of Department Layouts in foundry Finalizing of new pattern mounting and parting line design 3D Modelling of Running and Feeding system Knowledge to Prepare details of pattern, core box mould,core,chill,gating for Review with Cross functional team for new product development Finalizing the running system for new products through MAGMA simulation soft ware Find out the low yield castings, revisit modify running system by using MAGMA simulation soft ware Maintain of Records, documents(ISO, OHSAS TQM) and its retrieval Ensure adherence to Business Excellence processes in all activities related to the Product and Process Engineering function, approve TQM status monthly audit in inter-department Support innovation and automation centre team to explore and implemented novel technologies in the field of product development Identify and use the latest technologies and tools in the field of New product development for Foundry Designing of Moulding Box and accessories Create Drawings for maintenance departmment Prepare PFMEA for NPD process Discuss internally regarding the new product
