About The Role

Enviu is seeking a

Founder in Residence

to co-build a new impact venture tackling

textile waste

in India.This is not a job it's an

entrepreneurial launchpad

. You'll work with Enviu's venture-building team to ideate, validate, and scale a business that redefines how textile waste is prevented, recovered, and recycled.You can

bring your own idea, technology, or patent

, or build one with us from scratch. You'll lead the venture as a true co-founder, supported by a global network, expert guidance, and clear ownership.

We co-found with you de-risking the early journey, giving you ownership, capital pathways, systemic expertise, and a global platform while ensuring you remain the entrepreneur at the center.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and validation of circular business models addressing textile waste.
• Define market positioning, partnerships, and business strategy.
• Set up operations for collection, sorting, recycling, or upcycling.
• Build partnerships with brands, recyclers, policymakers, and funders.
• Represent the venture externally to attract visibility and support.
• Collaborate closely with Enviu's venture-building and domain teams.
  

What We Offer

• Monthly stipend: ?2 Lakhs
• Contract: 6-month term, renewable up to 18 months
• Equity: Majority co-founder ownership under Enviu's transparent founder model

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Entrepreneurial background or startup leadership experience, ideally in sustainability or circular economy.
• Brings or wants to develop an innovative concept, technology, or patent.
• Skilled in business operations, partnerships, and financial modelling.
• Passionate about environmental and social impact.
• Thrives in uncertainty, learns fast, and stays hands-on.
