FORKLIFT AND TECHNICIAN TRAINER

Forklift Training:

• Conduct classroom and hands-on training for new and existing forklift operators.
• Train on various types of powered industrial trucks (PITs), including sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company-specific safety regulations.
• Evaluate operator performance and issue operator certifications.
• Conduct refresher courses and re-certification as required.

Technician Training:

• Train technicians on the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of forklifts and related industrial equipment.
• Develop and deliver technical training modules (e.g., electrical systems, hydraulics, engine diagnostics).
• Use diagnostic tools and manuals to teach troubleshooting techniques.
• Monitor technician skill progression and provide hands-on guidance as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer recommendations, equipment upgrades, and emerging technologies.

General Training Duties:

• Develop and update training materials, manuals, and assessments.
• Maintain accurate training records and certification documentation.
• Support safety audits and recommend corrective training where applicable.
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and performance gaps.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Certified Forklift Trainer (e.g., OSHA-compliant trainer certification).
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., ASE, equipment manufacturer training) preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in forklift operation and/or technician work.
• At least 2 years of experience in training, instruction, or mentorship roles.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of forklift operations and mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to train individuals with varying levels of experience and skill.
• Competency in using training software, MS Office Suite, and diagnostic tools.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or other) a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
