Job description Lead and manage a team of shuttering carpenters and laborers to ensure quality work and adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule shuttering activities based on project timelines. Oversee the erection and dismantling of form work for concrete pours, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications. Inspect completed work for quality and precision, addressing any issues promptly. Ensure that all materials needed for shuttering are available and in good condition, coordinating with suppliers as necessary. Enforce safety standards on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring team adherence to regulations. Maintain records of Daily work progress, materials used, and labor hours. Proven experience as a shuttering carpenter or foreman in construction projects. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with various types of form work and construction techniques. Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) and first aid training.
