Job Profile

We are currently hiring a B.Sc. Food Technologist Intern to assist in the quality assurance and testing of raw materials and finished food products.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End QA: Manage quality assurance for a wide range of categories including food products (grocery, nuts, teas, butters, wheat, pulses), natural cleaners, and personal care items.
• Lab Testing: Conduct regular laboratory testing on raw materials and final products.
• Safety & Compliance: Supervise chemical and microbiological testing procedures to ensure safety and determine shelf life. Ensure strict compliance with FSSAI quality assurance protocols and hygiene standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all testing reports and quality logs.
• Process Improvement: Identify root causes of quality failures and suggest necessary improvements. Establish SOPs for regular testing, calibrations, and preventive checks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Lab Maintenance: Maintain the safety, hygiene, and cleanliness of the laboratory testing space.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Freshers are welcome; candidates with up to 1 year of experience in lab testing and quality assurance are preferred.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with chemical and micro lab testing techniques.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail and strong documentation capabilities.
