Job Description

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include handling raw materials such as receiving, sorting, inspecting, and washing fruits, followed by preparation steps like peeling, coring, and slicing. Pre-treatment methods may be applied to prevent browning. Operators are responsible for loading produce into dehydrators, operating and monitoring equipment, and adjusting settings to achieve desired moisture levels. Quality control involves checking the drying produce for moisture content, texture, color, and aroma. Maintaining sanitation and safety by cleaning equipment and adhering to food safety standards is crucial. Additional duties include packaging and labeling dried fruits, documenting production data, and troubleshooting equipment or production issues.    Required Knowledge and Skills ·        Technical Knowledge : Understanding of food hyderation principles, profiency in operating drying equipment and knowing of different drying methods. ·        Food Science/Safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations, microbiology, and proper handling of sanitizers. Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, adherence to protocols, and physical stamina.
