As a Waitress, your role involves ensuring guests receive excellent dining experiences by providing prompt, courteous service, taking accurate orders, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your key responsibilities will include: - Greeting guests warmly and escorting them to their tables. - Presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and answering any questions about food and beverages. - Taking customer orders accurately and relaying them to the kitchen. - Serving food and beverages promptly and professionally. - Ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout service. - Handling guest concerns or complaints politely and efficiently, escalating issues when necessary. - Processing bills and handling cash/card transactions accurately. - Following all food safety, hygiene, and service standards. - Collaborating with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth service. - Maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment. To qualify for this position, you should have: - Previous experience as a waitress or in a customer service role preferred (training provided if needed). - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment. - Neat, professional appearance and good personal hygiene. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements for this role include: - Ability to stand and walk for long periods. - Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, and beverages.
