COMPUTER SKILLS TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required and experience with SAP. POSITION DESCRIPTION PROCESS ENGINEER OEM BUSINESS UNIT LOCATION Fluiconnecto India Private Limited , Bengaluru POSITION IN COMPANY This position reports to the Regional General Manager OEM Business unit India OBJECTIVE / PURPOSE OF JOB We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Process Engineer to oversee and optimize the operations of our assembly facilities located in Bangalore, Pune, and Ahmedabad. The primary objective of the Process Engineer is managing the companys effort to implement process driven environment utilizing lean principles and working to sustain results through employee training and involvement; measuring and reporting the results to senior management; strategically leading improvement activities throughout the facilities and departments. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES (ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES) Assess existing processes with a focus on productivity, quality, and safety. Assess exiting production capacity based on as is technology and products mix. Create, configure, and develop industrial processes and operating instructions. Develop ideas and plans for process improvement to reduce costs, improve capacity, and embed better quality and safety. Developing standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process. Support the configuration of SAP system settings (e.g., BOMs, routing, production planning) Implement automation within SAP to streamline tasks (e.g., MRP runs, inventory management) Develop and execute plans to standardize production technologies and processes across all OEM manufacturing units. Optimize layouts to achieve maximum productivity and minimizing the occupation of physical space Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues. Provide development alongside Production Managers process documents and standard operating procedures. Monitoring upgrades systems. Periodically assess business for weakness in Lean development and adjust training and schedule meeting to address the weakness. Lead kaizen events based on business needs as indicated by assessments or from data derived from performance problems as they relate to Quality, Delivery and Cost. Utilize Value Stream Mapping as a planning tool to prioritize and select the continuous improvement activities. Assist in the development and implementation of new production methods so as to develop them with Lean principles from the beginning of production process. Contribute to prevent inventory growth, focus on off the shelf availability, design manufacturing and assembly cells with standard works tools, etc., Manage Continuous Improvement Program with the goal to steadily grow the number of improvements per employee across facilities. Provide a monthly reporting with relevant comments and a standardized set of KPIs Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times and that the appropriate safety regulations and policies are complied with.
