The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and preparing floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, corporate events, birthdays, and other special requirements. The role involves creating aesthetically appealing arrangements, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of freshness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, prepare, and arrange flowers, bouquets, centerpieces, and other floral decorations for different occasions and customer needs.Provide professional consultation and suggestions to customers regarding flower selection, color combinations, and design styles.Maintain the quality and freshness of flowers by following proper handling and storage procedures.Ensure floral displays are attractive, well-presented, and aligned with Acacia Garden Centers standards.Create seasonal and festive floral themes for in-store and event displays.Manage flower inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation.Keep the work area and display counters clean, organized, and visually appealing.Collaborate with the sales and event teams to meet customer requirements and deadlines.Assist in wrapping gifts, plants, and other decorative items when required.Maintain knowledge of floral trends, materials, and techniques to deliver innovative designs.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Florist or Floral Designer, preferably in a retail or event setting.Strong knowledge of flowers, foliage, and floral design principles.Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of color and aesthetics.Ability to work independently and handle multiple orders efficiently.Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.Basic knowledge of flower care and preservation techniques.
