Floor Supervisor

Job Summary

Raja Industries is seeking a proactive and hands-on Floor Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing floor operations. This role is responsible for supervising staff, ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining quality and safety standards, and reporting operational performance directly to the Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day manufacturing floor activities
• Manage and guide shop-floor staff and operators
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and timelines are met
• Monitor machine usage, workflow, and material movement
• Enforce safety, cleanliness, and compliance procedures
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with maintenance, inventory, and quality teams
• Prepare daily/weekly production and manpower reports for the Director
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives

Requirements

• Experience as a floor supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of shop-floor operations and production processes
• Ability to manage workers, shifts, and workloads effectively
• Basic reporting, documentation, and communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Willingness to be hands-on and present on the factory floor

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing fields
• Experience with industrial machinery or manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality control practices
