About The Role:- Senior Manager Planning- This role will head the inventory planning and operations for the category.
About the team:- Senior Manager Planning- This role will be part of the Apparel Business within Fashion.
You are Responsible for:- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for production or sales.- Analyze inventory data and control the DOH- Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and operations teams to plan and optimize inventory turnover.- Maintain inventory control systems and generate reports on stock movements, sales trends, and forecasting needs.- Develop and implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize carrying costs via RTV,- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and stock availability.
You Should Have:- Educational background - Graduation, MBA is preferred- Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion- Highly analytical- Willing to take calculated risks to grow the category- Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills- Strong understanding of technology and business- Must be willing to learn- Ability to connect with people across teams & levels- Strong bias for Action - Flipkart works at a very rapid pace
