Flight Test Engineer

You will be working with Sarla Aviation, a company dedicated to revolutionizing urban air mobility through innovative eVTOL aircraft technology. As a Flight Test Engineer, your role will involve contributing to the planning, execution, and analysis of flight test campaigns for Sarla Aviation's eVTOL program. Key Responsibilities: - Develop comprehensive flight test plans, schedules, and operational workflows aligned with program milestones and safety objectives. - Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments, integrating mitigation strategies to ensure safe and efficient test operations. - Coordinate with engineering teams to verify aircraft configurations and software baselines ahead of test events. - Lead or assist with various bench tests to validate system functionality. - Extract, organize, and analyze flight test data using Excel, Python, MATLAB, or similar tools. - Document test outcomes, lessons learned, and provide recommendations for process refinement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline. - 3 years of experience in flight testing, system integration, or operational planning within complex engineering environments. - Strong understanding of operational frameworks for flight test processes, readiness reviews, and risk management. - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing certification and operations for advanced air systems. - Proficiency in Excel, Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for data handling and analysis. - Possession of a DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) for Small/Medium drones is desirable.
