Flexera Tooling Implementation Specialist

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Flexera Tooling Implementation Specialist with extensive hands-on experience in the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and management of the Flexera Software Asset Management (SAM) tool.
As a tooling expert and solution architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the Flexera platform is correctly deployed, maintained, and aligned with customer needs.Key Responsibilities :

- Independently configure and install the Flexera SAM tool with minimal supervision.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of the Flexera environment.- Upload, manage, and maintain accurate data within the Flexera SAM platform.- Perform regular system maintenance tasks including backups, patches, and upgrades.- Administer user roles and access, aligned with organizational policies.- Continuously monitor system health and proactively resolve any technical issues.- Manage and maintain the infrastructure hosting the SAM solution, ensuring adequate resources.- Escalate and manage vendor support tickets, and collaborate closely with vendor teams.- Maintain all data feeds and system integrations connected to the Flexera SAM tool.- Perform scheduled and ad-hoc data uploads and updates.- Upgrade the Flexera platform and its modules in line with evolving customer requirements.Required Qualifications :

of experience in IT tools implementation, with a strong focus on SAM tools.

- Proven hands-on experience in configuring and deploying both on-premise and cloud instances of Flexera SAM.- Deep understanding of Flexeras modules, data connectors, platform architecture, and capabilities.- Technical expertise in Flexera features, limitations, and implementation best practices.- Skilled in designing and implementing frameworks to assess and improve tool maturity.- Ability to create tailored implementation plans based on customer business and technical requirements.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Nice to Have :

- Flexera certifications or formal training.

- Experience with integration of Flexera SAM with other ITSM or CMDB platforms (e. , ServiceNow).- Familiarity with license compliance, software metering, and audit support practices.
