A Fitter Technician is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems. They work with tools and technical drawings to ensure proper functioning and safety of mechanical components. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and install mechanical parts and machinery according to specifications and blueprints. Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Inspect machinery to detect faults or malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and efficiently. Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work instructions. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve technical issues. Test machinery after repairs or installations to ensure proper operation. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Document maintenance and repair work accurately. Support installation of new equipment and assist in modifications or upgrades.
