Fitter (Maintenance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical maintenance of machines, conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks and servicing.
• Attend to breakdowns promptly to minimize machine downtime.
• Carry out installation, alignment, and overhauling of mechanical components.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintenance SOPs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report issues to the supervisor.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
• Hands-on experience in maintenance and fitting work
• Good understanding of bearings, shaft alignment, and lubrication systems
• Ability to use hand tools, welding, gas cutting (if required)
• Awareness of safety standards and plant operating procedures
• Problem-solving and teamwork skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
