Description

We are seeking a skilled Fitter Machinist to join our manufacturing team in India. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in machining and fitting processes, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and operate various machining equipment.

Responsibilities

Interpret technical drawings and schematics to manufacture components accurately.
Set up and operate various machines including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Perform precision machining and fitting of components to meet specified tolerances.
Conduct routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during machining processes.

Skills and Qualifications

1-10 years of experience in machining and fitting roles.
Proficiency in operating lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Experience with CNC machines is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
