Job Description

Examines patients and treatsinjuries within the scope of training and/or refers patients to appropriatepractitioner or clinic or arranges for transport to local hospital.

Provides standard first aidtreatment for injuries not considered serious, which may include cleaninginjured areas and applying antiseptic, salves, ointments, or bandages.

Maintains required records anddocumentation including log of injuries and occupational illnesses requiringfirst aid treatment.

Maintains adequate inventory offirst aid supplies; requests additional supplies when needed.

Maintains neat and tidy first aidroom.
Requirements
Must Have Skills:

Abilityto remain calm and tactful in stressful situations.

Abilityand willingness to work with open cuts, burns, and other injuries.

Maintainrecords and logs.
