First Aid Trainer

As a Master Trainer First Aid in the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) department based in Gurgaon, your role will involve planning, conducting, and evaluating first aid training programs for site personnel in a mechanical construction environment. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all workers and supervisors possess essential life-saving and emergency response skills in adherence to safety standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct first aid training sessions for employees, supervisors, and site workers at various construction sites. - Develop and update training materials, presentations, and demonstration kits according to recognized first aid standards such as Red Cross, St. John, and Indian Health & Safety guidelines. - Assess and certify First Aiders as per company and statutory requirements. - Conduct refresher sessions periodically to maintain continued competency. - Provide practical demonstrations on CPR, bleeding control, fracture management, burns, and other emergency procedures. - Coordinate with the HSE department to identify high-risk areas and ensure adequate first aid preparedness. - Maintain training attendance records, evaluation reports, and certification databases. - Conduct mock drills and emergency response simulations on site. - Inspect and ensure availability and readiness of first aid boxes and medical equipment at all site locations. - Support incident response as a resource person during medical emergencies. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Nursing, Paramedical, or Occupational Health & Safety. - Certified First Aid Trainer, preferably recognized by organizations like Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, or similar. - Minimum 2-5 years of experience in training or HSE roles within a mechanical or construction industry. - Hands-on knowledge of emergency response, workplace safety, and industrial health practices.
