Fireman roles and responsibilities

• Fire Suppression

   Extinguishing fires using hoses, pumps, and other tools, and protecting property

• Search & Rescue:

   Entering burning buildings or hazardous sites to find and save trapped individuals and animals.

• Emergency Medical Care:

   Providing first aid and pre-hospital care for injuries and illnesses, as most calls are medical.

• Hazardous Materials:

   Responding to and managing chemical spills and other hazardous substance incidents.

• Disaster Response:

   Assisting during natural disasters like floods or storms. 

• Equipment Maintenance:

   Keeping fire trucks, hoses, tools, and the station clean and operational.

• Training:

   Participating in regular drills, physical fitness training, and educational sessions.

• Fire Prevention & Education:

   Inspecting buildings for safety, enforcing codes, and giving talks to the community.

• Reporting:

   Documenting incident details and equipment maintenance.
