The role of Fire & Security Engineer at Act Masters Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position located in Panchkula. As a Fire & Security Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire and security systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and client safety requirements. Your technical proficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality service will be crucial in this role. Daily tasks will involve troubleshooting system malfunctions, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, and conducting regular fire safety audits to optimize performance and safety. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and test a variety of fire and security systems such as fire alarms, sprinklers, suppression systems, CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems. - Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure systems operate effectively and meet regulatory standards. - Diagnose and repair faults in fire and security equipment to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability. - Collaborate with clients to assess needs, provide technical guidance, and recommend appropriate solutions. - Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service reports, and compliance records. - Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work complies with industry regulations and company policies. - Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely resolutions. - Stay updated on new technologies, products, and industry standards to enhance service delivery. - Demonstrate strong Fire Safety knowledge and troubleshooting skills. - Conduct thorough fire safety audits and inspections. - Utilize excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in fire and security system installation and maintenance. - Proven expertise with fire alarm systems, sprinklers, suppression systems, and security products. - Relevant certifications such as NICET or manufacturer-specific certifications are preferred. - Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, building codes, and OSHA safety regulations. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required. - Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Preferred Skills: - Experience with integrated fire and security systems. - Familiarity with low-voltage wiring and network-based systems. - Ability to train or mentor junior technicians.
