Job Description

Document and report non-compliance issues, including gaps in fire safety preparedness or design flaws. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing observations, findings, and recommendations for corrective actions. Present findings to management and provide actionable solutions for improvement. Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions or workshops for staff on fire safety awareness and best practices. Collaborate with teams to foster a culture of safety and compliance. Coordination and Follow-up: Work with fire system vendors, maintenance teams, and facility management to resolve identified issues. Conduct follow-up audits to ensure implementation of recommended actions. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Fire Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline. Certification in fire safety auditing or related fields (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience of experience (after Bachelors) in fire safety auditing or related roles, preferably in manufacturing industries. Strong knowledge of Indian fire safety laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., NBC, BIS codes). Proficiency in identifying fire safety design and operational deficiencies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders. Willingness to travel extensively across India to conduct onsite audits. Key Competencies: Attention to detail and a methodical approach to audits. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. Preferred: Experience auditing large-scale or complex manufacturing facilities. Familiarity with emerging technologies in fire safety systems.
