Fire & Life Safety Engineer

Job Description: As a Fire & Life Safety Engineer at Jensen Hughes, you will be responsible for demonstrating experience and passion in Code Consulting and Performance Based Design across a diverse portfolio of fire and life safety projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safety and security of high-rise buildings, commercial centers, bridges, stadiums, and other structures. Key Responsibilities: - Conducting code consulting, fire safety drawing reviews, and reports. - Attending client project & design meetings, completing assigned tasks on schedule and within budget. - Preparing and presenting technical reports and analysis. - Leading and carrying out design reviews. - Managing reports and presentations while meeting stakeholder expectations. Qualifications Required: - Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Fire Safety Engineering preferred. - Relevant experience in Code consulting and developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment, with 5+ years of experience in Fire Engineering. - Excellent report writing, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to present clear and technically sound fire engineering strategies, speak in public, negotiate, and explain fire protection concepts. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, enjoying professional challenges, and contributing to the long-term growth of Jensen Hughes. - Willingness to travel as required for the role.,
