Job Description

Role Summary:

The role (Senior Manager) is designed for a finance technology professional who can act as a link between the Finance and Technology teams, ensuring that financial processes and systems are efficient, well-integrated, and aligned with business objectives. The incumbent will play a critical role in managing, enhancing, and supporting the finance systems environmentparticularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or other ERP platforms)and driving process automation and data integrity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance and Technology teams to translate business requirements into system solutions.
  • Lead or support implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related financial applications.
  • Understand financial reporting, accounting, and control requirements and ensure that system configurations meet GAAP and compliance standards.
  • Develop and optimize system workflows, approval hierarchies, and data structures to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to identify and automate manual processes through ERP, Power BI, RPA, or other automation tools.
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing), troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with IT for timely resolution.
  • Support preparation of system documentation, SOPs, and user training material.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Treasury, Procurement, etc.) to ensure end-to-end process connectivity.
  • Assist in data governance, integration, and reconciliation between Dynamics and other business systems.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging fintech tools and technologies for potential implementation.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of financial processes GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Consolidation, and Reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
  • Ability to translate financial requirements into technical system specifications and vice versa.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Excel Power Query, or other analytics tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on process efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Understanding of system control frameworks, audit trails, and financial compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA (Finance) / Finance Systems Specialist with a strong technology orientation.
  • 7-8 years of relevant experience in Finance Systems, ERP implementation, or FinTech roles.
  • Prior exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Alteryx) highly desirable.
  • Experience in FinTech, financial services, or technology-led finance transformation environments preferred.
