ole Overview:

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Financial Research Analyst with strong experience in financial modeling, equity research, and valuation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of conducting comprehensive research to support clients through the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process. You'll be a key player in helping private companies transition to the public market.  

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research and financial analysis on companies, industries, peer benchmarking and market trends to identify potential IPO candidates and assess their readiness for a public listing. Build and maintain detailed financial models for company valuation using various methodologies such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations with actionable insights and investment recommendations for senior management and clients. Assist in the due diligence process by analyzing financial statements, operational data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) of target companies. Support the creation of key IPO documents, including the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP), and assist in preparing for research reports, valuation notes, investor presentations and roadshows. Monitor macroeconomic factors, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to provide timely updates and risk assessments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment bankers, legal counsel, and auditors, to ensure a smooth and successful IPO transaction. Support in preparing marketing material, pitch books, and client proposals.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA/CA preferred). Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial research, equity research, investment banking, or a similar role, preferably with exposure to IPOs.  

Skills:

o Strong analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail. o Expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques. o Proficiency in financial databases like Bloomberg, FactSet, or Refinitiv. o Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex financial data clearly. o Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. o High level of integrity and professional ethics
