As an Area Manager in Branch Banking, your primary responsibility will be to achieve the business objectives for the area by meeting the value, volume, and channel productivity metrics. You will be essential in generating revenues through the sales of CASA, Assets, TFX, and Third Party Products like Insurance and General Insurance via the branch channel. Your role will involve leading Branch Managers, Operations Team, and mentoring Sales Teams to ensure the enhancement of the deposit pool from customers. In addition to driving revenue generation, you will be accountable for ensuring regulatory compliance, effective manpower planning, and improving RM & RO channel productivity. It will be crucial for you to focus on driving service quality parameters across the span, managing the productivity morale of branch personnel, and establishing standards for the delivery of customer service. To excel in this role, you must possess an excellent understanding of CASA & Cross-sell products concerning all financial requirements. Strong presentation skills, service acumen, and a focus on service, relationship management, and investments are essential qualities for this position. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, will be necessary for successful collaboration within the team and with clients. You will be required to adhere to KYC/Quality and Audit norms as per company policy, ensuring compliance and quality in all operations. A post-graduation degree along with a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in team handling, preferably in relationship management, is expected. Prior experience in book management and a solid understanding of business MIS will be beneficial in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.,
