Financial Counselor – Patient Billing & Estimates

We are looking for a Financial Counselor to assist patients with billing-related counseling, cost estimates, and payment guidance. The role involves explaining treatment charges, insurance coverage, and payment options to patients in a clear and empathetic manner.
Female candidates are preferred for this role due to patient interaction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel patients regarding treatment cost estimates before admission or procedures
• Explain billing details, packages, and hospital charges clearly
• Guide patients on insurance coverage, approvals, and self-pay options
• Coordinate with billing, TPA, insurance, and front office teams
• Address patient queries related to estimates, deposits, and payment methods
• Maintain accurate documentation of counseling and estimates provided
• Ensure patient satisfaction through polite and professional communication
• Follow hospital billing policies and compliance guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Management (preferred)
• Experience in hospital billing, patient counseling, or healthcare finance
• Good knowledge of billing estimates and insurance processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain financial information in a patient-friendly manner
• Basic computer knowledge (HIS, Excel, billing software)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,303.85 - ₹40,500.00 per month
