Role Overview: As a Financial Analyst at Google, you will play a crucial role in ensuring sound financial decisions are made by the company. Your responsibilities will include modeling business scenarios, tracking performance metrics, and providing insightful recommendations to senior management. Working on multiple projects simultaneously, you will focus on the details while also finding creative solutions to tackle broader challenges. Your expertise in finance will be utilized to transform planning, tracking, and control processes within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Support the creation and maintenance of data center region Profit and Loss (PL) performance for total Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Perform diligence and report quarterly to leadership on region performance against expectations. - Collaborate with key Go-To-Market (GTM) and product partners to analyze customer and infrastructure performance. - Develop annual plan forecast aligning with sales and product business Annual Operating Plan (AOP). - Analyze new metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to develop goals for regions based on defining characteristics. - Identify opportunities for margin improvement across GCP data center regions and assist in sizing up various divestment or sales strategies. - Work closely with sales, product, and other teams to generate region-level business and margin forecasts. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. - 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FPA), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
