About The Role: We are seeking a talented candidate to join the India office of DESRI, namely DESRI India Private Limited, located in Hyderabad, India. As a part of the Legal Entity Controlling team, you will engage with the U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams and external parties. You will be an integral member of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI's wind, solar, and storage projects within a collaborative environment that emphasizes thoughtful problem-solving and attention to detail. What You'll Do: Your responsibilities will include preparing, reviewing, and filing U.S. GAAP-based financial statements for the company's renewable energy projects, investment funds, and corporate entities. You will ensure adherence to close timelines and control procedures, maintain books and records in accordance with U.S. GAAP, and review technical accounting analyses related to various transactions. Additionally, you will liaise with auditors for external audits, collaborate with asset managers, treasury and tax team associates, and external consultants, and engage in regulatory reporting and investor communications. This role also involves contributing to initiatives focused on optimizing and documenting accounting processes and controls. Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess a Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant degree with 0 to 2 years of post-qualification work experience. You should be capable of working autonomously with limited guidance, have experience in U.S.-based audit, a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, excellent communication skills, familiarity with financial agreements and contracts, and experience in the energy, real estate, or financial services sector.,

The purpose of this role is to provide legal support for the development of large-scale renewable projects in India, including all associated legal activities. Reporting to the GC-India, your key accountabilities will include assisting in preparing documentation for partnerships with third parties, negotiating and preparing legal documents for bid submissions, participating in the negotiation of partnership agreements, project agreements, and EPC contracts, providing legal support for project financing, advising on contracts and legal matters throughout project phases, monitoring trends in construction and infrastructure law, managing project contracts, facilitating the setting-up of companies in India, contributing to document management, ensuring compliance with Engie Group policies and procedures, reporting ethical and human rights issues, and controlling the use of external legal counsel. To qualify for this role, you should have a legal qualification and/or a master's degree from a reputable university, along with at least 3 years of legal or compliance practice, preferably in corporate law. Excellent command of English is required, along with strong professionalism, writing, drafting, conciliation, practical legal advice, complexity management, organizational, teamwork, cultural sensitivity, drive, and attention to detail skills. About the Role: We are urgently looking to onboard a skilled Corporate Legal professional with hands-on experience in securitisation (PTC/DA), debt documentation, and co-lending structures. This is a high-impact role, pivotal to enabling and supporting our core lending operations. The selected candidate will play a key role in structuring, drafting, and negotiating a variety of financial and lending agreements in alignment with business and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for co-lending transactions with Banks/NBFCs, securitisation transactions including PTC (Pass-Through Certificates) and DA (Direct Assignment), debt instruments such as Facility Agreements, Deeds of Hypothecation, Corporate Guarantees, and related security documents. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (credit, compliance, finance, business teams) to understand business requirements and provide legal support accordingly. Liaise with external counsels, lenders, and financial institutions to ensure timely and compliant execution of transactions. Ensure all documentation is in line with applicable legal, regulatory, and RBI guidelines. Support due diligence, risk mitigation, and legal compliance checks related to lending activities. Desired Candidate Profile: 3+ years of relevant experience in the lending/financial services space. Strong legal knowledge and prior exposure in co-lending structures, PTC / DA documentation, debt and borrowing transactions.
