Finance Process Architect

Role Overview: As a P2P Global Process Architect at CBRE, you are responsible for developing and constructing processes for the Finance organization. You will review and analyze existing processes, recommend improvements, and document new processes using an innovative approach. Your role involves working with internal stakeholders to assess areas of improvement, engineer processes, and ensure the smooth functioning of financial and technical processes. Key Responsibilities: - Determine the process sequences and interactions of existing processes by collaborating with internal stakeholders/process users to gather requirements and understand the current state. - Map out current processes, document procedures/protocols, process flows, approver levels, decision points, and relevant information. - Identify bottlenecks, pain points, and areas for improvement. - Problem solve fundamental issues to key processes and provide recommendations for process enhancements. - Evaluate and propose process improvements such as Waste elimination, Automation, RPA, and Centralization near/offshore, or engineer new processes. - Support Managers in discussions with primary stakeholders/leaders, document decisions, and conduct follow-up discussions with secondary stakeholders. - Resolve process problems, meet process output requirements, and ensure detailed process descriptions are provided to technical writers. - Identify training documentation needs and communicate them to technical writers. - Provide informal assistance and training to co-workers. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, IT, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience. - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred. - Knowledge of Financial accounting, functional financial processes, and exposure to business support areas. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Vision.
