1. Planning

• Preparing forecast of bills to be processed
• PreparingR&M and Administration monthly payment forecast and yearly budgets

1. Operational Excellence

• Implementing vendor registration by creating purchase codes after verifying updated bank KYC details
• Preparing accounts payable closing
• Making vendor payments wrt. Consumables, R&M, Plant operations, equipment, administrative Invoices after preparation of vouchers adjusting debit & credit note and validating in the system
• Processing bills sent to banking by respective sections for payments
• Ensuring disputed portion payment is held back and paid next month after doing due diligence.

1. Budgetary Controls

• Implementing reconciliation of budget vs actuals

) Compliance

• Ensuring quarterly and monthly reconciliation of vendor accounts in a timely manner.

5) Customer-centricity

• Ensuring payment to vendors in a time bound manner and undertaking corrective action in case of deviation.
• Providing support to Commercial/ Purchase department in order to ensure optimization of inventory level across processes
• Publishing month end MIS report with payable status
• Making payment of service contractors bill after statutory compliance has been checked by HR
• Ensuring minimum turnaround time in internal and external customer response

6) Sustainability and Process Improvement

• Partnering in System development and digitization projects
• Participating in Kaizen and partnering in process improvement and sustainability projects of the Organization

7) People development and engagement

• Monitoring and improving performance of team members
• Ensuring technical, behavioral, quality and safety training of all team members
• Embedding 5S culture
• Improving engagement scores of the team
