About the Opportunity

As Finance Lead - GSC, you will lead Novotech's Global Shared Centre finance function in a hands-on manner. The role is Bangalore based and is responsible in creating a vision and strategy for the Finance team with best-in-class GSC transactional practices, policies and KPIs that is responsible in processing all transactions of the Global Novotech operations.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Drive the development of Key Transactional metrics and present key operational metrics/ad hoc reports to the Senior Management.
  • Develop financial accounting policies, processes to improve the controls across the Debtors and Suppliers of the Group. Ensure adherence to policies and ensure key principles such as Delegation of Authority and Segregation of Duties are adhered to.
  • Support the Group Transformation team and work with IT on Global change projects for Transaction team process efficiencies and to optimize all Transactional Finance processes (internal & external system integrations) to improve data accuracy and work efficiency.
  • Setting KPIs for each respective area of transactions that is aligned to the Group Finance and organisation objectives.
  • Act as Subject Matter expert in process transitions during M&A.
  • Collaborate with the group Finance Team on intercompany accounting for transactions and reconciliations. Also support the automation of these on ERP.
  • Drive operational excellence within the GSC function
  • Collaborate with the Group Finance team as new offshoring opportunities arise and ensure these are successfully transitioned to the GSC

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position, relevant degree in Finance / Accounting or similar with CA / CPA Status.
  • Significant Line management / global services leadership experience.
  • Proven success in scaling global finance operations in a matrixed, multinational environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, peers, and executive team. Strong financial acumen with a desire to drive business performance and accountability
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple work requirements to determine and monitor KPIs across the GSC Finance team
  • KPI and reporting mindset to deliver results across the organisation whilst collaborating with the Customer success lead to drive, improve customer satisfaction scores for internal & external stakeholders.
