Film Editor Job Description :

We are looking for a film editor to capture the vision of the director. The responsibilities of a film editor include assessing multiple hours of film, assembling footage, and meeting film deadlines.The ability to turn a vision into reality, and be highly artistic.onsibilities:

• Reading the scripts to understand the vision of the Director.
• Reviewing footage and selecting scenes according to the vision.
• Trimming segments of footage.
• Collaborating with Sound Editors, Sound Effects Editors, and Cinematographers.
• Making revisions as per the request of the Director.

Editor Responsibilities: Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.

• Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
• Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
• Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
• Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
• Consulting with the director and production team throughout the project.
• Creating the final cut for broadcasting.

Film Editor Requirements:

• Bachelor of arts in film and television, media or related.
• Previous industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of editing tools, techniques, and software.
• Great patience and concentration.
• Organizational and time management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

• Photo, Film & Video Editors: 4 years (Preferred)
