About the Role

Gear4 Automation is hiring Field Technician Interns (ITI) to assist in execution of low-voltage systems (ELV), structured cabling, automation, and building management solutions at project sites. This role provides practical exposure to real industrial and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of low-voltage and ELV systems
• Support structured cabling, routing, dressing, and termination
• Help in electrical and control wiring work
• Assist senior engineers in automation and BMS-related activities
• Carry out basic testing, inspection, and troubleshooting
• Follow site safety standards and work procedures
• Maintain tools, materials, and basic site records

Eligibility

• ITI pass-out or pursuing candidates
• Preferred trades:
• ITI Electrician
• ITI Electronics
• ITI Wireman
• ITI Instrumentation

Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of electrical / electronics systems
• Willingness to work on-site and field locations
• Ability to follow technical drawings and instructions
• Physically fit for site work
• Strong learning attitude and discipline
