Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will identify potential clients, build strong relationships, and promote our range of automation and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Client Acquisition:
  • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities by cultivating leads and relationships.
  • Generate and follow up on leads through networking, referrals, and online research.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Act as a point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new product developments.
  • Develop and implement creative sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and explore opportunities for market expansion.
  • Reporting & Coordination:
  • Track and report sales activities, results, and forecasts to management.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the feasibility and customization of solutions.
  • Quotations & Negotiations:
  • Prepare and present detailed quotations tailored to client requirements.
  • Manage pricing discussions, contract terms, and close deals effectively.
  • Customer Support & Follow-Up:
  • Assist clients in project planning and execution phases as needed.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction.
  • Follow up on completed projects to identify upsell or repeat business opportunities.
  • Product Expertise:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Gear4 Automation’s solutions, including their features and benefits.
  • Provide technical insights and demonstrate product capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Cross-Selling & Upselling:
  • Identify additional opportunities for cross-selling related solutions and services.
  • Educate clients about complementary offerings to maximize value.
  • Industry Networking:
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent Gear4 Automation and build professional networks.
  • Build a strong database of contacts and partnerships within the industry.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure all sales contracts and agreements comply with company policies and legal standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and payments in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in sales, preferably in automation, IT, or related industries.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Technical understanding of automation, IoT, or AV solutions is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and site visits.
  • Valid driver’s license.
