Field Executive Trainee

As a candidate for the mentioned position, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Abiding by safe operating procedures within the operating range - Acting as the first responder to emergencies - Suggesting safety improvements - Safely handling hazardous materials and plant wastes - Contributing to housekeeping - Supporting contract workmen on safe working - Monitoring and controlling field equipment as per SOPs, SOCs, LLF checklist, and ODR instruments - Coordinating closely with the shift superintendent/panel executive - Collecting and delivering samples from the field for laboratory testing - Reporting promptly any abnormal observations to the shift engineer/panel executive - Handing over/taking over equipment from maintenance - Performing condition monitoring using portable instruments (ODR) - Performing minor troubleshooting and maintenance - Contributing towards the reduction of waste/handling of chemicals - Operating equipment efficiently - Identifying and suggesting opportunities for improvement - Following the latest safety guidelines and management guidelines like TQM, EFQM, QCC, 5S, etc. - Maintaining shift logs for the respective area/equipment - Following instructions received from the shift superintendent/engineer/panel officer - Being a member of the Auxiliary Fire Squad Qualifications required for this role include: - B.Sc./M.Sc. or Diploma in Chemical Engineering In terms of skills and competencies, you should possess: - Good housekeeping skills - Ability to upkeep Fire and Safety equipment in your area - Familiarity with field logbook/LLF checklist - Knowledge of waste segregation - Ability to maintain equipment health through LLF and report equipment abnormality - Fulfillment of identified training needs for self,
