We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. Responsibilities Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies Transport raw materials to production workstations Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs Comply with company policies and legal guidelines Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

As a Field Operator, your responsibilities include abiding by safe operating procedures within your operating range, acting as the first responder to emergencies, suggesting safety improvements, and ensuring the safe handling of hazardous materials and plant wastes. You will also be expected to contribute to housekeeping, support contract workmen in safe working practices, and monitor and control field equipment according to SOPs, SOCs, LLF checklists, and ODR instruments. In this role, you will closely coordinate with the shift superintendent/panel executive, collect and deliver samples from the field for laboratory testing, and promptly report any abnormal observations to the shift engineer/panel executive. Additionally, you will be responsible for the handover/takeover of equipment from maintenance, perform condition monitoring using portable instruments (ODR), and conduct minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. Your contribution towards waste reduction and efficient chemical handling will be vital, along with identifying and suggesting opportunities for improvement. It is essential to follow the latest safety guidelines and management guidelines such as TQM, EFQM, QCC, 5S, etc., while maintaining shift logs for the respective area/equipment and following instructions from the shift superintendent/engineer/panel officer. Moreover, as a member of the Auxiliary Fire Squad, you will play a crucial role in ensuring good housekeeping, maintaining fire and safety equipment in your area, and adhering to field logbook/LLF checklist protocols. You will also be responsible for waste segregation, monitoring equipment health through LLF, reporting equipment abnormalities, and fulfilling identified training needs for self-improvement. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.Sc. or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or ITI/NCTVT certification. Relevant experience requirements include a minimum of 2 years for B.Sc./Diploma holders or a minimum of 5 years for ITI holders in Field Operations.
