Field Executive Trainee- Chemical-DMD

As a Chemical Process Operator, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe operation of equipment and processes within the plant. This includes acting as the first responder to emergencies, suggesting safety improvements, and handling hazardous materials and plant wastes with care. You will also be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping practices, supporting contract workmen in safe working procedures, and monitoring and controlling field equipment according to standard operating procedures. In addition, you will be required to collect and deliver samples for laboratory testing, report any abnormal observations promptly to the shift engineer, and perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks as needed. It is essential to contribute towards the reduction of waste and proper handling of chemicals while operating equipment efficiently and identifying opportunities for improvement. Your role will also involve following the latest safety guidelines and management principles such as TQM, EFQM, QCC, and 5S. Maintaining shift logs, complying with instructions received from superiors, and being a member of the Auxiliary Fire Squad are also part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have a B.Sc./M.Sc. or Diploma in Chemical Engineering. Skills and competencies required include good housekeeping practices, upkeep of fire and safety equipment, proper documentation in field logbooks, waste segregation, and fulfilling identified training needs.
