Field Executive

As a Field Operator, your role involves abiding by safe operating procedures within the operating range, acting as the first responder to emergencies, and suggesting safety improvements. You will also be responsible for safe handling of hazardous materials and plant wastes, contributing to housekeeping, and supporting contract workmen on safe working. Additionally, you will monitor and control field equipment as per SOPs, SOCs, LLF checklist, and ODR instruments. It is important to coordinate closely with the shift superintendent/panel executive and collect and deliver samples from the field for laboratory testing. Prompt reporting of any abnormal observations to the shift engineer/panel executive is crucial. You will also be involved in the handover/takeover of equipment from maintenance, performing condition monitoring using portable instruments (ODR), minor troubleshooting, and minor maintenance tasks. Your contribution towards waste reduction/handling of chemicals and operating equipment efficiently will be significant. Identifying and suggesting opportunities for improvement, following safety guidelines and management guidelines, and maintaining shift logs for the respective area/equipment are part of your responsibilities. Following instructions received from the shift superintendent/engineer/panel officer and being a member of the Auxiliary Fire Squad are also key aspects of your role. Qualifications Required: - Education: B.Sc. or Diploma in Chemical Engineering OR ITI / NCTVT - Experience: Relevant Experience B.Sc./Diploma holder 2 years OR ITI with a minimum of 5 years in Field Operations Skills & Competencies: - Good housekeeping skills - Upkeep of Fire and Safety equipment in your area - Field logbook/LLF checklist maintenance - Segregation of waste - Maintaining equipment health through LLF and reporting equipment abnormality - Fulfilling identified training needs for self,
