Field Engineer - Telecom Sector

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Engineer to oversee operations in the telecom sector. The role involves Mandal-level initiatives, ensuring seamless project execution, and collaborating with teams to meet organizational goals. Candidates with experience in Telangana Fiber Grid Corporation will have an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom infrastructure, including optical fiber networks and related equipment. Conduct site surveys to ensure accurate implementation of network plans. Coordinate with project teams to execute tasks within deadlines and as per quality standards. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety protocols at field sites. Maintain documentation of daily activities, progress reports, and issue resolution logs. Support the testing and commissioning of network components. Provide technical assistance to clients and resolve field-related queries promptly. Qualifications and Skills: Knowledge of optical fiber cable installation and maintenance. Proficiency in using telecom equipment and tools for testing and troubleshooting. Understanding of network design and implementation. Diploma or bachelors degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field. At least 1 year of hands-on experience in telecom network projects. Note: Prior experience with Telangana Fiber Grid Corporation is an added advantage
