You should have a strong understanding of fiber optic principles, network topologies, and communication protocols. Experience with different splicing techniques, including fusion splicing, is required. You should possess the ability to operate and interpret OTDR results for fault finding and performance analysis. Troubleshooting skills are essential for diagnosing and resolving a wide range of fiber optic issues. Your responsibilities will include examining and replacing faulty and old fiber optic cables, organizing scheduled maintenance routines, taking care of fiber splicing, and rectifying fiber optic problem areas. You will need to develop sensor indicators, conduct timely inspections to ensure the stability of the fiber optic system's performance, and formulate and maintain system records and designs. Additionally, you will be responsible for finding OFC faults, OFC splicing, OTDR testing, and reducing loss. Finishing work like numbering, stickering, and other related tasks will also be part of your duties. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in OTDR and Fiber. The work location is in person.,
