FED Engineer

Essential Responsibilities: • Serve as the lead design engineer on projects in the development of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDS) for complete natural gas delivery systems. • Design, specify and/or select appropriate equipment for responsible systems, such as natural gas filtration, pressure reduction and/or flow control equipment as well as burners system components and auxiliaries. • Partners with other engineering groups as a cross-functional resource to meet project requirements. • Provide proposal and sales support with customer presentations, consultative technical guidance, and project financial estimates. • Author field test procedures and reports, and lead service teams during fuel system commissioning and burner and emissions performance optimization and acceptance testing programs. • Produce and present technical content at conferences while networking within the industry. • Develop and/or maintain existing engineering standards for equipment sizing and performance predictions. Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science Degree in either Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Masters in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred. • Eight (8) or more years’ experience in the power or related industry .
