Perform
structural FEA
using ANSYS Mechanical APDL and Workbench.
Create high-quality meshes using
HyperMesh (shell meshing, midsurface extraction, mesh cleanup)
and ANSYS meshing tools.
Conduct analysis including:

Linear static analysis
Modal analysis
Random vibration analysis
Harmonic response analysis
Non-linear analysis (material, contact, geometric)

Interpret and validate results against design codes, standards, and engineering judgement.
Work on load cases involving shock, acceleration, seismic, vibration, thermal-structural interaction, and operational loads.
Prepare clear technical reports, plots, and client-ready documentation.
Support design optimization and recommend structural improvements.
Coordinate with design, CFD, and project teams for integrated solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Mechanical, Structural, or related discipline.
38 years of relevant experience in structural FEA.
Strong hands-on experience in:

ANSYS Mechanical APDL
ANSYS Workbench (meshing & solver)
Altair HyperMesh (shell meshing techniques)

Solid understanding of vibration theory, boundary conditions, and FEA best practices.
Experience handling large assemblies and multiple load cases.
Experience with industry standards (IEC, ASME, Eurocodes, IS, US-MIL).
Exposure to fatigue analysis and design validation.
Experience in electrical panels, rotating equipment, pressure equipment, or heavy structures.
