Job Description Mechanical engineer with 3-8 years of experience in the field of stress analysis. Expertise in structural analysis (static, non-linear, transient, and seismic) and thermal analysis (steady-state and transient) using ANSYS Classic and WB. Good exposure to Ansys Design-modeler or Space-claim to generate the 2D/3D model for the FE analysis. Expertise in ANSYS APDL to develop or modify the macros. Ability to independently determine analysis procedures and provide alternative solutions. Ability to verify analysis results with simplified hand calculations and/or the qualification of mechanical components using hand calculations. Exposure to ASME B&PV code Section III or Section VIII for mechanical component qualification. Exposure to ASME design by analysis principles (ASME Sec III). Very good technical report writing skills using Microsoft Word. Quick learner as most of the projects will be first of a kind. Able to work independently or with minimal supervision. Knowledge of MathCad will be an added advantage. Should have very good communication skills both written and verbal. Establish fun at work through employee engagement activities Work Experience Postgraduate in Mechanical / Aerospace / Structural Engineering or similar with 5-10 years of experience in FEA Expert in solving linear/non-linear, contact in ANSYS classic is a must. Candidate should be proficient in hand calculations and good with engineering fundamentals. Good experience in writing Analysis reports is a must. Experience in performing fatigue life assessments bolted joint design, and analysis is added advantage. Experience in composite products especially on wind turbine blade and/or transportation load cases is an added advantage. MATLAB coding basic knowledge is necessary Strong interpersonal skills, experience working with international customers, and collaboration with cross-functional teams are a must.

Ability to parameterize models and develop macros. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Simulation and Analysis Perform structural, thermal, dynamic, and fatigue analysis using FEA tools Develop and validate finite element models for components, assemblies, and full systems. Conduct linear and nonlinear analysis, including static, transient, and modal analysis. Perform crash, impact, and durability simulations, depending on industry requirements. 2. Model Preparation and Meshing Create high-quality finite element meshes to ensure accurate and efficient simulations. Simplify complex geometries while maintaining model accuracy. Apply appropriate boundary conditions, loads, and constraints. 3. Design Optimization Work closely with design and product development teams to optimize product structures. Suggest material changes, thickness adjustments, and structural modifications to improve performance. Support lightweighting and cost-reduction initiatives. 4. Documentation and Reporting Prepare detailed technical reports, including methodology, assumptions, and results. Present findings to stakeholders and provide design recommendations. Maintain FEA documentation for future reference and regulatory compliance.
