Food Preparation (Cutting/Prep)

• Wash, peel, and cut fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients as per the chef's instructions and standardized recipes.
• Chop, slice, dice, and portion meats and other food items accurately and efficiently using knives and other kitchen equipment.
• Measure and mix ingredients for various recipes, sauces, and salads.
• Label and store all prepared food items in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out) and temperature control to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Assist the cooks and line staff with basic cooking tasks and plating during meal service as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report shortages to the supervisor or manager.

Cleaning and Sanitation

• Clean and sanitize all workstations, counters, and food preparation areas before, during, and after shifts.
• Wash, scrub, and sterilize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, which may involve operating a dish machine.
• Dispose of waste and trash properly in designated containers and manage grease traps in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks of kitchen equipment (ovens, hoods, filters, drains) and general areas (floors, walls) according to a cleaning schedule or as assigned.
• Adhere to all local and national health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations (e.g., HACCP).
• Report any maintenance or safety hazards to management immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
