Job Summary:We are looking for a proactive and technically sound L1 IT Support Technician to provide first-line support for desktop systems, basic networking issues, and printer-related troubleshooting. The technician will be responsible for responding to support tickets, assisting users onsite or remotely, and escalating issues when necessary. Key Responsibilities:Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and basic networking issues. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, standard software, and hardware peripherals. Perform routine printer maintenance (paper jams, cartridge replacements, driver updates). Handle basic LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity problems and assist in network cable patching. Maintain IT asset inventory, log service requests, and update ticketing systems. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals at client sites. Provide first-level technical support for OS (Windows/Linux/Mac), MS Office, and standard business applications. Handle network connectivity – LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration, shared printers, and network printer setup. Perform routine printer maintenance – cartridge replacement, paper jam fixes, cleaning, and calibration. Support basic printer hardware issues – fuser unit, rollers, paper feed problems, and escalate if beyond L1 scope. Monitor and maintain consumables (ink, toner, drum units) and keep track of stock usage. Conduct regular system and printer updates, antivirus scans, and health checks.
